About me

I've always been in storytelling. I started out as a photographer, went into journalism and eventually found my home in narrative therapy. I briefly worked in corporate, the magazine industry and health coaching, studying to be a personal trainer. I crossed many things off my list before I found my feet in a profession I love, and I appreciate it all the more for it.

Now, rather than documenting or telling people's stories, I help people connect to their own. For, we are the stories we tell. Stories are powerful, they influence how we perceive ourselves, others and the world.

I help people improve the relationship they have with themselves. Only by connecting more deeply to ourselves can we find more fulfilling and meaningful relationships with partners, friends, community, family and work. It's my own experience of this that drives my passion to help others step into their own truths.

I am a cis-gendered, white Australian, queer woman (I use the pronouns she/her) with lived experience in chronic illness/pain, coming out, body building, connecting to chosen family and losing then finding purpose in work and life.

Our identity and experiences shape the gifts we're able to offer in our work and relationships. We learn through stories and living life - not through equations, rules, and reading books. That's how I "lived" for a long time before I went out and started engaging with the world, connecting not analysing.

It's from this hard-earned lesson—of truly realising the value of living from heart not head, from feeling not thinking—that I support the people I work with.
