Meet Mim
I’ve always been a storyteller.
I started out as a portrait photographer and journalist, profiling artists, entrepreneurs, community leaders and anyone making positive change in the world. I’d also worked as a disability educator, health coach and corporate 9-5er before finding my home in Narrative Therapy and building my private practice over the past 6+ years.
Very early on my inbox filled with inquiries from LGBQT+ adults asking if I offered couples therapy, which is something I’m very grateful for because it’s how I discovered my passion for couples work. Not long after, I went back to university and studied Sexology so that I could specialise even more in supporting people across sex, gender, dating and relationships
In 2023 I received my AuDHD diagnosis and suddenly so much made sense. I realised that my lifelong intrigue and desire to study human relationships had been my autistic special interest all along. I’d unknowingly spent my entire 20s crafting a career around it, and I’m honoured to now be supporting other high-masking ADHD and autistic adults in their own self-discovery journeys.
More recently, I’ve gotten into standup comedy, sharing stories about the lessons I’ve learned as a late-diagnosed AuDHDer (while not-so-secretly also delivering sex and relationships education in entertaining ways).
I love supporting people in understanding themselves more deeply and building a life and the relationships that celebrate the many layers of who they are.
