Therapy & Coaching

If you would like to work with me, the first step is to book in for a free 15-minute call to see if we’d make a good fit for therapy and coaching.

  • The #1 relationship I support all my clients in strengthening is the relationship they have with themselves as it shapes the relationship they have with others.

I work with individuals and couples across a broad range of identity and relationship contexts. They might be single, asexual, processing a recent separation/breakup, dating, or navigating solo polyamory. I work with clients that are partnered and in a new relationship or have been together or married for years. Maybe they’re seeking greater vulnerability, emotional connection or depth in their relationship.

Clients often see me for support with:

    • Sexual and emotional intimacy

    • Connecting more authentically

    • Bridging communication

    • Dating in the modern world

    • Boundary setting

    • Making healthy compromises over self-sacrifice

    • Loneliness and isolation

    • Long-distance and FIFO relationships

    • Understanding their sexuality and sexual orientation (LGBTQIA+)

    • Mastering how “conflict and repair” is handled in their relationship

    • Gender identity and navigating a social and/or medical gender transition

    • Open relationships, polyamory and ethical non-monogamy

    • Healing from betrayal or infidelity

    • Sexual difficulties such as vaginismus, dyspareunia, erectile dysfunction, premature ejaculation

I am a talk therapist which means sessions do not involve any form of touch, and for any medical or physical issues I refer clients on accordingly, such as to their GP, a pelvic floor physiotherapist, gynecologist etc.

  • I support ADHD and autistic adults and couples in their journey of understanding their neurodivergence more deeply. You might be late-diagnosed, self-identifying or anywhere along the assessment process. Or maybe you’re the partner of someone embarking on this self-discovery later in life and you’re figuring out how to come along in that journey with them.

Clients often see me for support with:

    • Processing their recent ADHD and/or autism diagnosis

    • Self-regulation

    • Unmasking safely

    • People pleasing patterns

    • Burnout, skills regression and recovery

    • Building self-esteem and confidence

    • Rejection sensitivity (RSD)

    • Pathological Demand Avoidance (PDA)

    • Identifying and communicating their support needs

    • Navigating executive dysfunction, time blindness, transitions, shutdowns, task paralysis and other neurodivergent experiences that can cause misunderstandings in relationships

    • Bridging communication, connection and intimacy differences in relationships

I believe in honouring the unique ways each individual prefers to make meaning of themselves, the world and their relationships. I do this by meeting the client where they’re at and figuring out together what they need by using direct and clear communication. I see therapy as a collaborative process that is guided by the client’s specific goals and focuses. These often evolve over time and so I make sure to check in and encourage feedback along the way.

  • Life exists in seasons, so when transitioning from one chapter to the next, we all need support. Through a hybrid of coaching and therapy, I guide clients in expanding their emotional capacity to hold themselves through life’s uncertainties, challenges and the many choices being an adult requires us all to make.

Clients often see me for support with:

    • Connecting to who they truly are and shedding expectations of who they’ve been told they “should” be

    • Getting clear on their core values and “bigger picture” in life

    • Communicating and expressing themselves authentically and effectively

    • Exploring their ideal career or lifestyle

    • Defining and connecting to purpose

    • Building a life that supports and celebrates who they are

    • Mapping out actionable steps towards achieving their goals

  • As a Narrative Therapist (where I did my original training) and ex-journalist I have always brought a curiosity and open-mindedness to the way I work.

There’s no one-size-fits-all way to do life or relationships, and so I consider my job to be helping others find out what their ideal is and put in the steps to build towards that dream - with courage and compromise. We don’t aim for perfect, we embrace “good enough”. And this is a mindset I bring to all my sessions with clients, no matter what they come to therapy for - adult relationships, health, work, parenting, pursuing their passions.

The world and our upbringings already place endless expectations on us about who we “should” be, and so the foundation of most of my work with clients is releasing these expectations and connecting back in with themselves.

Therapy is about holding space to truly feel and deeply reflect (processing the past and learning how to be in the present). Coaching is about applying that self-awareness and putting in the steps to create the life you desire (future-focused).

I combine therapy and coaching in a way that is:

    • Action-oriented

    • Tailored to the individual or couple’s needs, pace and goals

    • Feelings-first (we can’t direct our life authentically if we’re not connecting to our true feelings)

    • Collaborative (I do not create change in your life, consider me merely a catalyst for change)

    • Purpose and meaning driven

    • Prioritising connection and relationships
