Sex and Intimacy Coaching for individuals and couples

What is sex and intimacy coaching?

Part of my work is supporting adults and couples who are seeking to improve sex and intimacy within their lives and relationships. So, what does this mean exactly?

As a licensed Sex and Intimacy Consultant, I provide guidance, education and support to individuals and couples wanting to enhance their sexual wellbeing, intimacy and relationships.

Clients often see me to work on:

  • Enhancing communication in relationships

  • Improving sexual education and literacy

  • Managing performance anxiety

  • Elevating self-confidence

  • Shifting away from a performance/orgasm-centric experience

  • Building pleasure and connection in relationships and with self

These are simply a few examples. Through conversations, exercises and personalized strategies, I help clients address concerns, navigate challenges and discover new levels of sexual confidence, communication, and pleasure. Clients do not necessarily need to be in a relationship. Many of the clients I work with are single, dating, solo poly, asexual and relationship anarchists.

My role is to create a safe and nonjudgmental space for clients to openly discuss their desires, boundaries and goals, while offering guidance to achieve a more fulfilling and satisfying sexual and emotional connection with their current or future partners.

If in the initial sessions I believe the client would benefit from seeing a medical professional, pelvic floor physiotherapist, gynaecologist or other specialist to conduct a physical exam or any other testing, I will refer them onto the relevant physician. Similarly, if the issue is related to mental health and the client would be better supported by a psychologist or psychotherapist, I will also refer on.
